WHAT IS THE TICKET TO WORK PROGRAM?
The Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency program is designed to assist people who have a goal of achieving steady, long-term, gainful employment. If you are currently receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, and between ages 18 through 64, Ticket to Work may support your employment goals. When a person’s Ticket is assigned, no Medical Continuing Disability Reviews (CDRs) take place as long as the person demonstrates they are making timely progress toward their goals. You can reach the Ticket to Work Help Line at 1-866-968-7842 or 1-866-833-2967 TTY.
This is a voluntary employment-related program. When an individual gets a Ticket, they are free to choose whether or not to use the Ticket and which Employment Network to work with. Career Assist and Consulting, LLC is a proud Member of the American Dream Employment Network.
